Ever since 1991, residents of our town have enjoyed walking through the Greensboro Arboretum. From its butterfly garden to its 25-foot-tall chimes (yes, you read that right), the arboretum is one-of-a-kind. Visitors will delight in every step of the journey as they traverse the 17-acre property.

During their journey, they can take in striking structures and awe-inspiring gardens. Not to mention, they can stop by season after season to see the plants change throughout the year.

What gardens and collections does the Arboretum feature?

Unique sights await at the Greensboro Arboretum. Some of its gardens, landmarks, and collections include:

  • The Small Tree Collection;
  • The Elena Marzulla Bridge, which sports flowers and butterflies;
  • The Irene H. McIver Vine Collection;
  • The Kaplan Family Rose Garden & Arbor;
  • The Greensboro Council of Garden Clubs Winter Garden Collection;
  • The Beeson Rhododendron Garden;
  • Gate City Kiwanis Club Shade Garden Collection;

Next time you want to check out The Greensboro Arboretum, visit 401 Ashland Drive in Greensboro. Their hours range from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week. As for admission, everyone can visit for free!
