The Greensboro Children’s Museum is worth a visit—or two—or three! Over the past two decades, it’s grown quite a bit. Currently, it features exhibits and programs like:

  • A rock-climbing wall;
  • An edible schoolyard garden;
  • Water stations, with a drying area included;
  • Nonie’s House, a 1930’s Fisher Park replica home;
  • Story time;
  • A kid-sized train;
  • An outdoor rope plaza, where children can explore;
  • A health center, where your child can pretend to be a doctor, nurse, or dentist;
  • A play area built specifically for toddlers; and
  • An art studio.

Visiting Details

Making wonderful memories is as easy making a trip to the Greensboro Children’s Museum! Ready to explore? It’s located at 220 N. Church St. in Downtown Greensboro. The doors are open Tuesday, through Thursday and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday mornings are open for members only, and the museum is closed on Monday afternoons.

Don’t forget your tickets! Children younger than a year old get in for free, while those aged 1 to 59 get in for $10, and those 60 and older get in for $9.
