The Opening Acts
The Guilford College Bryan Series kicks off with virtual events this month. Guest speakers range from artists to political experts. In fact, the next speaker is awarding-winning conservation photographer Paul Nicklen on Tuesday, Feb. 16th, at 7 p.m. He is a National Geographic contributor, polar specialist and author. Spring Bursts onto the Scene
The halls are alive with the sound of music! The Greensboro Symphony Orchestra is set to perform an all-star line-up of shows at the Tanger Center for Performing Arts. Maestros and Mendelssohn is ready to wow with live performances of original classical music Thursday, April 29th, at 8 p.m.
The GSO schedule at the center includes the Music of Queen and Beethoven’s 9th in May. However, performances by the orchestra aren’t the only shows at the Tanger Center for Performing Arts. For example, live concerts by Home Free and Patti La Belle are scheduled too!

Per the new norm, familiarize yourself with the center’s Patron Health Initiative (PHI). In a nutshell, do the three “W’s” when you visit in-person. Wear a cloth face covering. Wait six feet apart. Wash your hands frequently. And know what the center is doing to prepare. The PHI outlines their commitment to the health and safety of all patrons.
