Tinsel Town 2022 in Greensboro is ready to wow you with this year’s decked-out trees in its new location! Walk through an enchanting forest of trees decorated by and for local nonprofits at the Greensboro Cultural Center.

About Tinsel Town

Hosted by Downtown Greensboro, Tinsel Town 2022 in Greensboro features 50, 6-foot, creatively decorated trees purchased by local businesses, groups, nonprofits and families.

Visitors are invited to stroll through the atrium in the Cultural Center now through December 31st. The decorated trees each has a sponsor who selects a local non-profit to represent.

Themes range from company branding to the nonprofits’ missions to cheerful, eclectic original designs. Don’t miss this fun, family-friendly holiday tradition that gives back to the community too!

Vote for your favorite

Get in the spirit of the holidays and vote for your favorite Tinsel Town 2022 tree when you visit. Guests can cast their votes for the top five designs throughout the duration of Tinsel Town. Each tree has a QR code for voting.

In the end, the top five Tinsel Town trees will receive a $500 donation for their chosen nonprofit!


The Greensboro Cultural Center is located at 200 North Davie St. downtown.

Make time for Tinsel Town 2022 in Greensboro during the Cultural Center’s regular business hours. It is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. On Saturday, the center is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday hours are from 1 to 6 p.m.
