We’re two weeks away from the first day of school at Guilford County Schools. But we’re just one week away from celebrating at the Back to School Community Bash on Saturday, August 19th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Center City Park in Downtown Greensboro!
About the Back to School Community Bash
Bid summer adieu in a lively fashion at the Second Annual Back to School Community Bash in the heart of downtown! This free, community-wide event is jam packed with all the fixings to say “goodbye summer” and “hello school.”
There will be tons of children’s activities, including face painting and fun games. There will be a DJ, free haircuts, various vendors, food trucks and more. In fact, come hungry. Choose from savory dishes to sweet delights and everything in between, because there will be something for every taste.
Did we mention there will be 300 book bags filled with school supplies handed out too? So, don’t miss your chance to stock up on school supplies and a new bookbag on August 19th!
